Columbia Colocation / Crescent Bar Internet, LLC
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the use of colocation, bare metal, storage, and related services provided by Crescent Bar Internet, LLC dba Columbia Colocation ("Columbia Colocation," "we," or "us"). By using our services, you agree to comply with this Policy. It is designed to promote responsible, lawful use of our infrastructure and to protect all customers sharing our network.
You may not use our services for any purpose that violates applicable laws, regulations, or the rights of others. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
Using the services to commit or facilitate criminal or unlawful acts, including fraud, unauthorized access, intellectual property infringement, or distribution of illegal content of any kind.
Engaging in behavior that disrupts, degrades, or interferes with Columbia Colocation's network or the services of other customers. This includes introducing malicious code, operating open proxies, or generating traffic that impairs network performance for others.
Sending unsolicited bulk communications of any kind — email spam, SMS spam, or messaging spam — whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
Using the services to harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate others, including cyberbullying, defamation, stalking, or engaging in discriminatory or hateful conduct.
Attempting to monitor, intercept, or access communications or data not intended for you, including network sniffing, packet capture without authorization, or scanning for vulnerabilities in systems you do not own.
While Columbia Colocation does not impose egress fees, sustained traffic that materially impacts the network for other customers may be subject to rate limiting or discussion of a custom arrangement. We will always communicate with you before taking action.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all users and systems operating through their colocated or rented hardware comply with this Policy. Customers are also responsible for maintaining the security of their systems and promptly reporting any known or suspected violations to [email protected].
Columbia Colocation reserves the right to enforce this Policy through one or more of the following actions, which may be taken without prior notice in urgent situations:
We prefer to resolve issues collaboratively. For non-urgent matters, we will communicate with you before taking action.
This Policy may be amended at any time. Updated versions will be posted at wacolo.com/aup and are effective upon posting. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
